Privacy policy

Merna and Dom Cirillo operate Cirillo Vineyards and the Vino Tracker web app at cirillovineyards.com. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit this website or use the web app.
Information we handle
When you create an account, our authentication provider, Clerk, handles your account information and sign-in sessions. This may include your name, email address, profile photo, account identifier, and information needed to authenticate you.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your basic profile and email information with Clerk to create or authenticate your Vino Tracker account. We use this information for account access and identification. Vino Tracker does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar, and we do not receive your Google password.
We store the information you save in Vino Tracker, such as cellar and wine details, barrel stages, dates, bottle allocations, contributor names, costs, payment records you enter, notes, and uploaded images. Only enter information about other people that you have permission to use.
Our hosting and authentication providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, and security or error logs. If you enable push notifications, we store the browser subscription details and preferences needed to deliver them. If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message.
How we use information
We use information to sign you in, associate saved work with your account, store and display your cellar, provide notifications you enable, respond to support requests, and maintain the service and its security. We do not sell your personal information or use Google account data for advertising.
Service providers and sharing
When you import a photo or PDF wine list, text extraction happens in your browser. The source document is not uploaded or stored by this import feature. Only the wine records you review and choose to save are sent to the app.
Clerk provides authentication and stores the profile photo or wine avatar you choose for your account. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores app records and uploaded images. Your browser’s push service processes notification delivery if you enable it. These providers process information needed to provide their services. Google also processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Your saved cellar is not published on the public Cirillo Vineyards website. Information may be accessed when needed to provide support, investigate misuse, or comply with legal obligations. If you export or share information yourself, the recipients receive what you choose to share.

Cookies and browser storage
Authentication uses cookies or similar browser storage to maintain your session. The app may cache assets and keep preferences or app state in your browser. You can clear browser data through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or remove locally stored information. Clearing browser data does not delete records saved to your account.
Retention and your choices
Saved records are retained to provide your account and cellar. You can update your records in the app. To request access to your information, an export, or deletion of your account and associated stored data, email dom@makemepro.org. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting on a request. Removing a sign-in account alone may not remove all associated cellar records, so contact us for a full deletion request.
Some information may remain in provider backups or logs for their retention periods, or where needed for security or legal obligations. You can turn off notifications in the app or your browser and revoke the Google connection through your Google Account settings. Revoking Google access does not itself delete previously saved Vino Tracker data.
Security and service location
We use HTTPS and account-based access checks to help protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Children
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Changes and contact
